Job Summary:

Reporting to the AVP of Talent, Culture, and Engagement, this position will support the institution-wide employee engagement survey initiative and pipeline plan that contributes to the realization and engagement of UTA's workforce.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coach and equip leaders to address engagement issues raised in the institution-wide employee engagement survey and discuss key insights to develop action plans.
  • Provide guidance interpreting results of institution-wide feedback survey and prepare communication messages for employees of all levels of the organization on initiatives connected to the survey.
  • Proactively work with colleges and units to review action plans, identify common threads, and create reports for key stakeholders.
  • Create a comprehensive strategy between surveys to support employee engagement initiatives.
  • Create and manage UTA's pathways/pipelines programs to address specific institutional needs and focus areas (i.e., pathways/pipelines for military veterans, individuals with disabilities, etc.).
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of two (2) years of experience managing institution-wide employee feedback and creating programs on results of survey.
  • One year of experience managing career pathways/pipelines, career development, employee training or job coaching.
  • Experience working with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in with a minimum of three (3) years of experience managing institution-wide employee feedback and creating programs on results of survey.
  • One or more years of experience managing career pathways/pipelines for veterans & student workers and helping them successfully join the workforce, career development, employee training or job coaching.
  • Demonstrated knowledge coaching leaders on addressing identified issues.
  • Experience creating communication messages to clearly report on results, initiatives and goals derived from the institution-wide employee engagement survey.
  • Experience developing relationships with internal and external partners including community organizations.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to consult, coach, and work collaboratively with individuals and groups such as faculty, managers, and other internal and external key stakeholders.
  • High level of initiative, independent effort, and commitment toward completing assignments efficiently and with great attention to detail.
  • Knowledge interpreting data results and explaining results to diverse key stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of institution-wide employee feedback surveys.
  • Ability to coach leaders of all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge preparing communication plans.
  • Job coaching knowledge.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including state and federal agencies.
  • Knowledge creating and managing pipelines for veterans, individuals with disabilities, and student workers.
