Purpose
The Biologics Patient Care Coordinator (Intake) organization is the "doorway to Biologics" and facilitates the efficient and effective on-boarding of patients and processing of prescriptions. This includes the intake and entry of prescriptions/referrals, obtaining renewals of expired prescriptions, and processing discontinuations. The Patient Care Coordinator (Intake) supervisor collaborates with internal and external partners process prescriptions in a timely manner to enable patients to receive their critical therapy.
The Supervisor, Patient Care Coordinator (Intake) is a critical leader responsible for ensuring our processes and employees are equipped to build patient profiles and enter prescriptions with the highest quality standards. This role is responsible for developing our employees, continuously improving our processes/systems, building a metrics package to inform us of the health of the business, and achieving our targets. The Supervisor will set expectations, hold the department accountable, and ensure we have highly repeatable processes that ensure best in class quality, service, operational excellence, and engage their employees.
The candidate must exhibit strong influencing skills that effectively motivate employees to provide outstanding customer service. They should also possess a strong attention to detail, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a problem-solving mentality.
Key Responsibilities
The primary role of the Supervisor, Patient Care Coordinator (Intake) are as follows:
- Develop and maintain an organization with a passion for customer service and ongoing qualityimprovement. Instill a culture of going above and beyond to exceed the patient, provider, andclient expectations.
- Provide leadership and direction to the team that is reflective of the philosophy of Biologics
- Provide oversight and ongoing management for specific areas within pharmacy operations.
- Proactively evaluate people, process and technology improvement to enhance Biologics' ability toimprove customer satisfaction.
- Responsible for the effective implementation of operational and organizational enhancements.
- Responsible for monitoring and tracking results that focus on improved performance andpersonnel effectiveness.
- Promote ongoing staff training and development. Responsible for the development of staffimprovement plans that enhance personal and professional development.
- Identify and report adverse events (AEs) and product complaints (PCs) to clinicians
- Work with the highest degree of quality and efficiency
- Assists in ensuring program quality and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Ensure compliance to SOPs, contractual, Federal and State regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum RequirementsTypically requires 3+ years of subject matter experience including exhibiting leadership capabilities
Critical Skills
- High school Diploma or greater
- Current CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) certification required; must be current, without restrictions
- Must have 3+ or more years of experience working in a pharmacy
- Innovative mindset always seeking continuous improvement through use of various techniques (Six Sigma, Lean, ...)
- A servant leader that is highly motivated and committed to building an engaged workforce
- Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and work under pressure to "Get Stuff Done"
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to meet personal deadlines and produce important team deliverables
Preferred
- 2 or more years of experience leading a team
- Experience developing project and business plans
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Collaborative and willing to learn new things to go above and beyond expectations
- A change agent that can lead his staff through the change management curve
- Great communicator up and down the corporate ladder
- Knowledge of pharmacy processing systems (CPR+/CareTend) that can help improve productivity and quality
- Flexible, adaptable, conscientious and detail oriented
- Highly motivated and committed to excellence with a positive attitude

Our Base Pay Range for this position$64,500 - $107,500
