Endocrinology

Located at 10 Members Way in Dover, NH, this position will support our expert providers that specialize in care for patients with endocrine conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, and a broad spectrum of other hormonal disorders. This practice focuses on specialized diagnostics and treatment, including advanced patient education programs to assist individuals looking to improve their health and enjoy a better quality of life.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour RN or LPN to support the practice Monday through Friday. The operating hours of the practice are 8:00am to 5:00pm, with 1 late day ending at 6:00pm. Schedules are staggered, but will consist of 5, 8-hour shifts weekly.

Employees are expected to be onsite for all hours worked during the first 90 days of employment for onboarding/training. There are options for hybrid work rotation after the successful completion of the training program, based on performance.

The responsibilities of this role will consist of primarily phone triage in a call center style, with limited face-to-face patient interaction. The Nurse will handle patient interactions via telephone, provide advice in accordance with clinical protocols, and coordinate proper disposition. Calls are related to patient concerns and education, appointments, pre and post procedures, inpatient admissions, prescription refills, and test results.

We do our best to keep all employees in their assigned practices and locations; however, you may also be asked to float to other departments in the WHP system when appropriate and needed during times of staffing shortages/other extenuating circumstances for cross-coverage purposes and to ensure adequate coverage and support.

The ideal candidate profile is an experienced, adaptable Nurse who is confident in their clinical abilities and genuinely enjoys variety.

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
  • Current licensure as an LPN or Registered Nurse in NH required.
  • BLS required prior to hire.
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a community-based ambulatory setting preferred.
