Placement Specialist

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain carrier contacts within database
• Resource Pro/Placement liaison
• File BORs and track deliverables
• Prepare and review loss summaries
• Generate loss letters
• Pull work comp mods
• Rate, quote and maintain a working knowledge of all rating platforms
• Prospect and renewal proposal support as needed
• Maintain agency management system with policy data needed to obtain quotes or coverages as bound
• Assistance and support to VP-Placement or Placement Manager with projects as needed
• Participate in carrier visits and meetings on and off site
• Assist Placement team members with account filing
• All other duties as assigned

Teamwork

Function as a team member of the Agency to ensure superior service to all MMA Clients. These activities include but are not limited to:

• Works with other marketing personnel on market strategies
• Creates and maintains strong working relationships with carriers and wholesalers
• Supports Placement team members across the region

Requirements

• Property & Casualty License preferred
• Commercial Lines experience highly preferred
• Interpersonal and administrative skills
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• High level of reliability and dependability.
• Able to deal with deadlines and tasks in an organized and prioritized manner.
• High School Diploma Required. Bachelor's Degree highly preferred
• Proficient with MS Office Suite, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
