Your Role:
The Point of Care, Key Account Executive, Distribution is a dynamic role that will lead in managing and optimizing the partnership and distribution strategy for our Point of Care business within North America. This role will develop tactics to drive growth, ensuring effective market activities, training for the channel partners and driving distributor performance to achieve revenue.
This person should have experience and working knowledge of Distributor sales models, strong sales skills, and knowledge Point of Care testing is preferred. They should also be able to communicate readily with both internal and external customers and have strong business acumen skills.
You Will:
- Achieve sales, profit and growth objectives for assigned distributors
- Manage Distributor funnel and forecasting dashboard for the assigned distributors and deliver on each forecast by developing a KPI's
- Conduct regular business reviews with distributors to ensure customer satisfaction, address issues and identify additional partnership opportunities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded
- Support the negotiation and maintenance of corporate agreements and drives local vendor contract compliance
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and develop strategies to grow the business
- Collaborate with internal (e.g. Marketing, product development, sale operations, and heads of business) to create customized solutions for clients
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and develop strategies to grow the business
- Prepare strategic plans in coordination with marketing and sales leads to build long term partnerships
- Provide market intelligence for the sales organization
- Demonstrate knowledge of products, services, and trends within the industry, and assists leadership with the development of sales strategies that identify the Siemens Healthineers advantage, or address and win competitive challenges in the marketplace.
- Represent Siemens Healthineers at National and Regional sales meetings
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence varying roles across the organization
- Utilize data management software to secure territory intelligence and develops a strategy; uses the CRM to record current accurate and complete account information and activity
Your Expertise:
- 5+ years' experience in distribution and / or Laboratory sales
- Familiarity with laboratory diagnostics and point-of-care products
- Strong experience with distribution sales, promotions, acute and non-acute market, and funnel management
- Previous capital sales experience with demonstrated track record of success
- Ability to provide regular forecasts and assess channel partner performance
- Business Level interface with distribution partners on owned processes
- Exceptional customer facing skills
- BS/BA in related discipline; advanced degree preferred
- Experience using Share or similar CRM tool
- High degree of business acumen to include standard competencies (financial, market positioning, healthcare industry, and customer)
- Ability to develop and deliver business reviews
- Ability to travel a minimum of 70% throughout U.S.

The pay range for this position is $112,000-$150,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The annual incentive target is $80,000.
