As an Engineering Services Manager, you'll provide solutions and services that help our customers protect and control critical electrical infrastructure and power systems worldwide.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Owns the performance of the Engineering Services branch office in conjunction with SEL strategic objectives, ensuring that cost, schedule, and performance objectives are met.
2. Owns team development and long-term strategy in the branch office territory.
3. Leads and develops multiple engineering managers, supervisors, and individual contributors to meet the goals of the organization.
4. Leads and presents at meetings with internal stakeholders, business partners, and customers.
5. Uses extensive knowledge of technical principles to forecast new technologies and provide technical direction.
6. Model, teach, and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
7. Understand. Create. Simplify.
8. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
B.S. in Engineering field or equivalent combination of education/experience
5+ years of related engineering and management experience
Strong technical expertise in multiple engineering disciples/technologies
Proven ability to lead the design/support of successful products/processes
Ability to manage complex business process problems requiring creativity and ingenuity
Proven ability and strong desire to develop employees and lead projects
Ability to define general approaches and specific solutions to technical problems
Ability to exercise latitude when determining and initiating work assignments
Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Background check results satisfactory to SEL
Negative drug test result(s)

Project management experience
Professional Engineer license
Engineering consulting experience
