Job Title: Product Review Engineer

Job Description:

• Apply foundational knowledge of design and engineering principles to develop interim or final engineering solutions for product/process issues during production and for technical, operational, and quality issues unresolved by the customer.
• Conduct failure analysis, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting to identify and understand root causes.
• Assist in identifying solutions and provide written dispositions for routine design non-conformances.
• Support activities to identify deviations that could impact design intent, safety, and product/process improvements.
• Develop routine customer correspondence to ensure the continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Participate in Material Review Boards and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
• Ensure suppliers and build partners comply with standards.
• Represent the engineering community in the build through post-production environment.
• Recommend simple non-destructive test procedures, tools, and standards.
• Conduct basic static strength analysis to validate that interim design repairs meet original design load criteria.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in Engineering.
• 1+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• 1+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing operations and/or manufacturing support.
• Experience with Material Review Board Certification or similar Liaison Engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain Secret Clearance post-start.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• ABET Accredited degree in Engineering.
• Excellent cross-functional leadership, collaborative problem-solving, relationship-building, and proficiency in written and verbal communication.
• Experience in Modification Engineering.
• Relevant technological knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead others, work independently, and function effectively in a team environment.

Education / Experience:

• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is preferred but not required.
