Production Control Specialist

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Production Control Specialist to work under the supervision of the Production Control Manager to assist in production planning, designing, and implementing the production schedule, work orders sales orders, tracking of production requirements, and other tasks. This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Process work orders for new production in the MRP/ERP
• Creating and communicating daily and monthly schedules.
• Create and maintain sales orders for finished goods for accounting to manifest.
• Verify manifest progress with the manufacturing schedule
• Coordinate the scheduling activities to ensure efficient operations and to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Check production progress with the manufacturing schedule and communicate discrepancies with the Manager.
• Monitor any production updates, analyze order volume, kick outs, late order status and inventory levels as well as present recommendations and take related actions to allow goals to be met. Adjusts work orders and status reports per amendments and product/part shortages.
• Issuing and monitoring work orders for service parts and special projects
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Associates or Bachelors Degree Highly Preferred
• Two or more years' experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems to accomplish Production Control efforts.
• Experience with production planning and inventory control applications.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business correspondence, technical/product information, policies/procedures, and government regulations.
