Production Manager
Loparex LLC

Loparex LLC is the world's largest manufacturer of extrusion base and silicone-coated release liners for the converting industry. We have manufacturing operations throughout the U.S., Europe, China, Thailand and India. Loparex's Malvern Facility is currently looking for a Production Manager. This position will lead and manage the manufacturing operations in a productive and safe manner.

DUTIES

• Promotes safety by leading by example, participating in safety engagement, and encouraging the team to work safe each day, and to follow all safety guidelines and procedures
• Ability to lead within our current unions Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)
• Cultivate a culture focused on continuous improvement and safety performance
• Lead the team by personal example with a positive attitude and setting the standards for the team
• Manage all production operations
• Manage all shipping and receiving activities and inventory control
• Provide an effective training program for all production employees to include new hires, as well as follow-up training for existing employees
• Responsible for throughput control and improvement while maintaining quality standards
• Develop self-reliant, knowledgeable managers, capable of successfully leading and running production
• Works with technical staff to resolve production or processing problems
• Participate in hiring, training, and evaluating of production staff
• Responsible for working with the scheduling and Supply Chain group to optimize production efficiencies
• Actively participate in teams, including safety and quality
• Responsible for 5S activities
• All other tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination and experience, preferred.
• 5 - 7 years previous of previous manufacturing experience required.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and operate in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
• Must have strong leadership skills with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Solid computer skills, SAP, and/or Apriso, a plus.
• Knowledge of extrusion coating, silicone coating, printing, and slitting processes preferred.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships and to motivate and lead a team.
• Must have the ability to wear personal protective equipment, including ear plugs, safety glasses, and steel toe shoes.
