Join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific and take on a pivotal role as a

Production Planner/Scheduler II. You will determine and successfully implement production schedules, ensuring flawless execution and world-class performance. This opportunity offers ambitious individuals the chance to engage in exceptionally meaningful work, supported by the industry's largest investment in R&D.

The role:

  • Provide finished goods and intermediate assembly manufacturing schedules
  • Develop, review, and distribute manufacturing schedules
  • Process suggested MPS/MRP releases and evaluate exceptions
  • Coordinate with on-site Purchasing team for supply of 3rd party materials
  • Coordinate with Customer Service teams for changes in shipping dates and reasons for customer orders
  • Analyze and carry out time-sensitive requests efficiently
  • Present key departmental metrics to Supply Chain
  • Provide departmental support to meet site inventory and back order targets
The person:
  • Experience in Manufacturing Production Planning and Scheduling
  • Understanding of capacity planning, production leveling, and handling production constraints
  • Familiarity with MPS and MRP processes
  • ERP system experience (SAP)
  • Strong Excel and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to learn and develop
Education/Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED. Four year degree preferred.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience
