About the Position
Pond is seeking an experienced Project Controls Lead to join our growing Energy team. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of project controls experience and a strong desire to collaborate and innovate. In this role, you will be responsible for financial planning, budget analysis, and tracking project costs across various projects. You will work closely with Accounting & Finance, Project Managers, and other teams to ensure financial success, resolve issues, and contribute to overall project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure proper project setup for revenue recognition and invoicing.
- Collaborate with Project Managers on budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Prepare and present cost analysis reports, participating in budget reviews.
- Serve as a liaison among project teams, clients, and subcontractors.
- Assist with proposal preparation and project close-outs.
- Support in tracking multiple projects, invoicing, and ensuring compliance with project budgets.
- Organize project documents and support administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
- BS in Accounting, Finance, Math, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in project financial management and cost tracking.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Prolog, P6, and government software (e.g., RMS, PIEE).
- Experience with subcontractor agreements, vendor invoices, and revenue reporting.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Additional Information Many factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge and experience. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. We anticipate filling this position as a Project Controls Manager with a salary range of $87,100.00 - $189,500.00 .
