Description: Our client is currently seeking a Project Manager - HYBRID Mobile App
All candidates must be on site 2-3 days weekly in West Greenwich RI and must currently live in the RI/MASS/& CT area
The Project Manager will oversee the development, implementation, and management of the mobile application.
This role requires ensuring that the project aligns with the organization's strategic objectives, is completed on schedule, within scope and budget, and meets the quality standards expected by stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

1. Project Leadership:

Serve as the primary point-of-contact and single-point of accountability for questions and issues related to the mobile application project.

Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of all tasks and subtasks defined in the Project Management Plan

Ensure transparency and effective communication with all stakeholders, including regular project status updates

Scope, Schedule, and Budget Management:

Define the project scope, develop detailed project plans, and manage project schedules and budgets to ensure timely delivery.

Regularly monitor progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet changing needs and requirements Team Coordination:

Lead a multidisciplinary team of professionals from various functional areas, ensuring coordination and collaboration across the project team.

Foster a productive and positive work environment to ensure high team morale and motivation Stakeholder Engagement:

Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders, addressing their needs and concerns, and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

Coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure seamless project execution .

Technical Oversight:

Oversee all technical aspects of the mobile application, including software development, system integration, and quality assurance.

Ensure compliance with technical specifications and standards, particularly related to security, authentication, and data encryption processes

Risk Management:

Conduct proactive risk identification and management, developing mitigation strategies to address potential issues that may impact project success.

Manage the change control process to handle project changes systematically and efficiently Compliance and Quality Assurance:

Ensure that the mobile application complies with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Oversee rigorous testing and validation processes to ensure that the application meets the highest quality standards and delivers a seamless user experience .

Documentation and Reporting:

Ensure comprehensive and accurate documentation of all project activities, including requirements, design, implementation, and testing phases.

Prepare regular progress reports for senior management and other key stakeholders

Post-Implementation Support:

Provide ongoing support during the post-implementation phase to address any issues and ensure smooth operation of the mobile application.

Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate any necessary enhancements or fixes Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the IT or gaming industry, including experience with mobile application development and deployment.

• Technical Knowledge:

Strong understanding of mobile application development, system integration, and quality assurance processes.

• Project Management Skills:

Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.

• Leadership:

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.

• Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

• Problem-Solving:

Demonstrated ability to identify and manage risks, solve problems proactively, and adapt to changing project requirements.

• Certifications: PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
