We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of Media and Event Technology projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in managing software development related projects including custom applications and APIs. The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT architects, engineers, and stakeholders, to ensure that all Media and Event Technology projects are completed on time, within scope, and meet the highest quality standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Manage the planning, execution, monitoring, and control of multiple technical projects simultaneously, using Agile methodologies.
  • Create and manage projects, tasks, and workflows in JIRA.
  • Manage the software development team backlog, develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings, identify, and resolve issues and risks, and provide progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including business units, vendors, partners, and other Tech teams, to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Implement, participate and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure that projects are delivered with high quality and meet the defined specifications, following Agile principles
  • Maintain a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction by delivering predictable, repeatable project results.
  • May be required to travel to events or partner locations to meet with project stakeholders upon request.
  • Travel: 5% including weekends
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical project management, and stakeholder management.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) process
  • Familiarity with general programming concepts.
  • Familiarity with APIs.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing.
  • Experience in managing technical projects using Agile methodologies, from planning to execution and delivery. Experience with Agile frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban as well as Waterfall and Hybrid project management methodologies.
  • Proficient in JIRA or similar project management tools, with demonstrated experience in creating and managing projects, tasks, and workflows.
  • Project management certification, such as PMP or Agile Practitioner preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt to changing technology landscapes and evolving business needs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical experience with on all company provided hardware, software and networks, and project management frameworks. Must have good understanding of programming concepts.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
  • CAPM preferred.
