* *This role is from January through December*

* *Open to either college junior or senior, or recent college graduate*

* *Must work 16-24 hours per week if a student; preferred work up to 40 hours per week if a recent graduate*

* *Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., some evenings and weekends*

*What You Do.*  



* Fully support company's Public Relations and Employer Brand strategies and execute it in different phases

* Update, create and curate engaging content for external communication channels

* Communicate and build relationships with key stakeholders from the Sargento Family of employees to community leaders

* Understand and promote the company's values

* Take pictures and record video for Instagram, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed and other external channels

* Conduct stakeholder interviews to gather compelling stories to promote the company and Sargento careers

* Effectively utilize company's social media and corporate, careers websites

* Coordinate and attend various community and corporate events

* Analyze the key performance metrics of social media activities to optimize performance

* Collaborate with the Sargento digital marketing team and the Public Relations and Archiving agencies to formulate and optimize content strategy

* Other communications/public relations work as needed and other duties as assigned


*Your Education and Qualifications.*



* Must be in junior or senior year pursuing a bachelor's degree in journalism, publication relations, digital marketing, communications or related field

* Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills

* Strong knowledge of photography and videography

* Working knowledge of graphic, layout & design tools, like Canva, is a plus

* Detail oriented with the ability to be accurate and check grammar, facts and figures

* MS Office Suite skills

* Must be a self-starter and a passionate storyteller

* Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and vehicle required. There is no mass/public transit system to/from corporate housing location to company locations.
