Job Description

Position Responsibilities:

• Verification of sample submissions to Quality Control
• Documentation of sample transactions in Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
• Handling, storage, and organization of samples
• Delivering samples to QC laboratories for testing as required
• Interacting with outside customers and functional peer groups
• Fulfilling sample pull requests
• Compliance with all pertinent regulatory agency requirements
• Conducting temperature, environmental, and/or CO2 monitoring.
• Preparation of samples for shipment
• Performing sample inventory and disposal
• Ensuring compliance with SOPs; reports any quality or other anomalies through the Deviation Notification and Resolution system

• Leading direct reports, group leaders and their teams, and serving clients in technical settings, such as laboratories or manufacturing facilities
• Disseminate administrative communications
• Demonstrate and promote the company vision
• Proactively plan and multitask to maximize productivity
• Meet all quality and productivity metrics, and demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration
• Coordinate scheduling and allocation ofresponsibilities, andnew hire on-boarding process
• Coordinates training program
• Development of teambuilding strategies and initiatives

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, or other science related degree concentration
• 3-5 year previous relevant leadership experience
• cGMP and QC experience
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Candidates currently living within a commutable distance ofRensselaer, NYare encouraged to apply.

• Position is full-time,schedule is available on firstshift Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  
• Base compensation is $35-$41per hour based on experience.
