SUMMARY:

The ideal candidate shall be a highly trained datacenter security technician with a minimum of five (5) years' experience in security integration. They shall have excellent written and oral communication skills, project supervision capabilities and interpersonal skills. The candidate shall have demonstrated experience in applying best practice to installations and servicing of integrated security systems. Reporting directly to the Securitas Technology Global Operations Team and working solely for this client, this candidate will work alongside other Securitas and Linked stakeholders to ensure a safe and secure environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • They must provide excellent communicative and interpersonal skills and instructional abilities.
  • Oversee and certify all work done on the system and oversees and certifies all additional equipment and capabilities installed on the system.
  • Work with counterparts in other parts of the company in a collaborative manner.
  • Ensure that the relevant activities and services are planned and delivered to the specified client's standards.
  • To act in accordance with the Securitas values of Helpfulness, Integrity and Vigilance.
  • Undertake other tasks as identified by their direct manager or appointed Linkedin Representative/s.
  • To provide advice and guidance on security matters and to carry out all necessary administrative tasks' ancillary to the above.
  • Keep all assignment Instructions, handbooks and site documentation up to date.
  • Report all incidents in compliance with client and company policy and procedures.
  • Ensure all daily/weekly/monthly KPI's/SLA's are completed.
  • Updating software, while ensuring GTS policy and procedures are followed.
  • Serve as the administrator and maintenance technician. Must independently operate, inspect, diagnose, and perform minor repair for system problems and take immediate actions to resolve malfunctions.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of all hardware and software operating systems, and provide maintenance support on all systems, linked sensors, system configurations from front-end to end users.
  • Provide technical diagnostic for escalation.
  • Work with counterparts in other parts of the company in a collaborative manner.

MINIMUM HIRING STANDARDS:
  • 5 years of experience in the security technology industry.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Able to manage contractors and third parties.
  • Have a five-year checkable employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self-employment, or full and part-time education during that period.
  • No current criminal convictions.
  • The ability to embody and uphold the Securitas core values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness.

  • Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
  • History of punctuality and reliability
  • Competent in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and E-Mail (Outlook), Smartsheets.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and capable of dealing with sensitive and confidential matters with tact and discretion.
  • Adaptable and responsive in the face of changes in priorities, plans and schedules.
  • Maintain certifications / attend supplementary training as needed.
  • Requires knowledge of all hardware and software operating systems (Feenics, Lenel, Genetec and Eagle Eye), as well as intrusion detection systems and devices, locks and locking systems, personnel entry control systems, asset protection, and loss prevention.

REQUIREMENTS:
The following are the minimum qualifications that an individual needs to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position.

  • College or Trade School Degree (Preferred) or commensurate security related field experience of at least 5 years working with enterprise security systems and complex and/or regulated environments
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and has demonstrated a willingness to work with a diverse public.
  • Excellent working knowledge and Certifications in Access Control, Intrusion and CCTV platform .
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and utilize sound judgment.
  • Ability to analyze security technology and develop innovative recommendations and solutions.
  • Must be familiar with Windows CMD terminal, POE switches, servers and managing basic administration functions for CCTV/Access Control Systems.
  • Detailed Knowledge of Lenel/Milestone preferred including hardware, software, network and global
standards.

  • Highly experience in electronic security systems administration.
  • Knowledge in server management (both physical and virtual).
  • Knowledge of physical security requirements.

  • Available for domestic travel approximately if needed.
  • Willing ane able to adjust schedule and working hours regularly because of different time zones.
  • Able to maintain composure when dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff and the public, occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations.
  • Willing and able to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Cognizant and capable of handling and being exposed to sensitive and confidential information.
  • Able to withstand utilizing a computer for prolonged periods of data entry.
  • Able to communicate via talking and hearing
