As a Walmart Quality Engineer, you will be responsible to drive the test strategy, design, execution and go live quality gates for our real estate technology solutions. These products operate on real time on very large-scale data sets. You will partner with Data Scientists, Analysts, engineers, product and business stakeholders to solve complex and exciting challenges so that we can build out capabilities that evolve the retail business model while making a positive impact on our customers' lives.

About Team: Real Estate Facility Services
We are responsible for building nextgen technology solutions for Walmart's Real Estate Facility Services. We build solutions at very large scale, following an openstack architecture leveraging data science and GenAI capabilities.

What you'll do:

• You will be responsible for testing a product across various platforms.
• You will promote QA productivity through automation, tools, and other best practices.
• You will participate in the development of test strategies, including manual and automation testing and test plans and execution of end to end functional and integration tests to certify dev builds and ensure successful release of apps and services into production.
• You will assist in the implementation of QA process, write and execute automated test cases for all the work streams to improve the overall testing cycle.
• The successful candidate must be obsessed with quality improvement and promoting best quality engineering practices into every stage to product development.
• You will ensure comprehensive test coverage by working closely with the product and engineering teams to prioritize testing execution and report on test execution progress and results.

What you'll bring:

• Experience in Automation testing
• Experience in building test suites using web and mobile automation tools like Selenium, Cypress,Appium, Cucumber etc.
• Experience in server-side API testing, Integration testing and an understanding of REST API's
• Ability to troubleshoot questions about data quality in SQL

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 2 years' experience in software quality assurance, manual/automated testing, or related area.
Option 2: 4 years' experience in software engineering quality assurance, manual/automated testing, or related area.

Master's degree in Software Engineering Quality Assurance, Manual/Automated Testing, or related area, Quality assurance certification (for example, CSTE - Certified Test Engineer, CSQA - Certified Software Quality Analyst), Related industry experience (for example, retail, supply chain, eCommerce, healthcare), Software Engineering Quality Assurance, Manual/Automated Testing, or related area., We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
