Position: Quality Inspector

Location: Anaheim, CA

Salary: $28.00-$35.00/Hr.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

*Direct-Hire/ Full-Time*

Shift Options:

• Monday-Thursday: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Monday-Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

What We're Looking For:

• Experience with PC-DMIS
• Work experience in the Aerospace & Defense industry
• Experience working with various metals
• 5+ years of experience in a Precision Machine Shop as a Quality Inspector
• Must pass a pre-employment physical, background check, and drug screening
• U.S. Citizen or equivalent, in compliance with ITARS regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Audit Excellence: Participate in customer and AS Registrar quality audits; conduct internal and supplier audits.
• Corrective Action: Respond to customer corrective action requests, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Certification Review: Review and verify certifications for purchased supplies and materials.
• Quality Compliance: Ensure company orders and manufacturing plans comply with quality clauses.
• Precision Inspections: Use CMM and PC-DMIS software to perform mechanical inspections of machined parts.
• Tool Mastery: Utilize calipers, micrometers, height gauges, optical comparators, and more for mechanical inspections.
• Daily Quality Checks: Conduct in-process, first article, and final inspections of precision machined parts.
• Documentation Pro: Prepare First Article AS9102 reports and maintain tool and gauge calibration records.
• Regulatory Adherence: Ensure compliance with all customer, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Detailed Reporting: Accurately document physical part measurements and showcase your attention to detail.
