Description: Our client is currently seeking a RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST in Worcester, MA
It is a Contract To Hire Opportunity.
Shift: 08:00 am to 05:00 pm [Mon to Fri]

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Proficient in C-ARM positioning and maneuverability.
• Routinely provides radiographic diagnostic services by operating the C-arm and other equipment/devices as necessary.
• Evaluates Fluoroscopy for positioning and technical quality. Troubleshoots and problem solves certain factors before calling service.
• Maintains sound employee radiation safe practices that are in compliance with ALARA and the standards set by the State of Massachusetts.
• Wear proper shielding aprons at all times for self-protection and use shielding to appropriately protect patients.
• Does not hold patients while radiation is being omitted.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Completion of a two-year program with accredited school of Radiologic Technology with an associate degree or certificate.
• Holds a current Commonwealth of Massachusetts registered Radiology Technology License.
• Maintains the required CEU?s in your biennium.
• Current CPR certification
