Job Description Summary
This position will work with the Rehabilitation Research and Training Center (RRTC) within Home and Community-Based services (HCBS). HCBS supports individuals with disability in living in the community. The mission of this NIDLIRR-funded RRTC is to support the improvement of person-centered community living outcomes for people with disabilities who use these services. We are looking for someone to help guide the development of research documents for the studies related to this grant-funded project. We are specifically looking for someone with training in research methodology and manuscript development. The Research Associate II conducts experimental studies in an SRAlab laboratory that requires deep technical expertise in a relevant discipline such as bioengineering, biology, or physiology. The Research Associate II will typically work as part of a multidisciplinary team that will require the ability to translate ones discipline to others who do not contain as deep a knowledge base. The Research Associate II should have an explicit understanding of the types of measurements in the laboratory and be able to develop novel measuring tools independently.
