Location

We are located at 383 Paradise Rd, Swampscott, MA. As an OB/GYN office, our obstetricians and gynecologists provide high-quality conscientious care to our patients, including annual check-ups, pre-and postnatal care, and sophisticated gynecologic surgery. Many of our physicians are specially trained in performing minimally invasive procedures.

Our office is open Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. We are seeking a full- time RN to support our practice.

Responsibilities

  • Triages patient calls, makes timely care decisions, and schedules appointments or directs patients to emergency care as needed.
  • Maintains vital statistics and patient data, organizing it in electronic medical records per protocols.
  • Communicates provider instructions to patients, including medication use, test results, and health maintenance guidance (e.g., cholesterol, blood pressure).
  • Administers injections, medications, dresses wounds, assists with minor surgery, and performs related tasks.
  • Conducts basic lab tests (urine dip sticks, hemoccult, hemoglobin) and assists with specimen collection and test preparations.
  • Manages prescription refills and medication orders via EMR, phone, or fax.
  • Informs patients of test results or provider recommendations.
  • Trains new medical assistants and nurses.


Qualifications
Education
  • Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Preferred: BSN
Licensure
  • Required: Licensed Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
Experience
  • Required: A minimum of 5 years triage experience in medical office setting or hospital.
  • Preferred: OB/GYN experience is preferred
