Summary: Manages classification and compensation functions for the organization. Writes and/or edits new and existing job descriptions/classification standards. Conducts job analyses and review of proposals for new or revised classifications to determine appropriate title structure. Develops recommendations to adjust salary structure in response to changing organizational needs and market values. Plans and directs implementation, coordination and administration of compensation-related programs. Participates in salary surveys and analyzes results to determine organization's market relationship. Provides services to employees to answer their classification and compensation questions; resolves problems related to classification and compensation; explains changes in compensation programs to employees and labor union representatives. Salary range is $90,931 to $114,940.

Qualifications:Required Education and Experience

1. Bachelor's degree and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time experience in compensation, including three (3) years of full-time experience in data analysis; or
2. Associate's degree and the equivalent of six (6) years of full-time experience in compensation, including three (3) years of full-time experience in data analysis.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a Healthcare or Civil Service environment, Advanced Microsoft Suite, Compensation/Total Rewards, Human Resources support in a unionized environment, Compensation/HR platform data maintenance experience, Executive incentive/benefit administration and Workday experience preferred
