Overview: ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Senior Implementation Manager position will provide technical and support services to Mechanical Enterprise Risk Projects, ensuring project deliverables are executed with quality, safety, on schedule, and within budget. This role requires expertise in field experience, best practices, and current code requirements to enhance project schedules, reduce costs, and mitigate risks. This position will validate project readiness and challenge execution strategies to deliver successful outcomes.
This full-time position is located in Richland, WA. Pay rate: $84.67 - $112.06 Benefits: -

Responsibilities: - Review key project documentation to identify opportunities for refining strategies, improving schedule performance, enhancing quality, and optimizing resource use. Correct errors or misconceptions for successful project implementation.
- Analyze key project documents such as Project Schedules, Implementation Means & Methods, Risk Registers, Work Orders, and associated documentation (weld records, ASME Section XI repair plans, etc.).
- Validate the quality of Work Order Tasks (WOT) prior to field activities and ensure they align with work management processes. Remediate any WOTs with errors or poorly written instructions.
- Review and improve testing and acceptance plans, including factory, shop, site, mock-up, and post-modification plans.
- Identify activities that could benefit from mock-ups and provide guidance on creating effective and impactful mock-ups.
- Communicate personal operating experience and industry examples related to project activities. Develop response strategies for each Operating Experience.
- Serve as the ASME Person In Charge (PIC) for Section XI Repair & Replacement Plan work scope as needed.
- Maintain a broad knowledge of codes, standards, technologies, and industry trends relevant to Enterprise Risk Projects.
- Provide timely feedback to Project Managers and management on project strategies, plans, and execution. Oversee shop or field activities and ensure alignment with the approved project strategy.
- Act as the designated person in charge during shifts opposite of the Project Manager, overseeing crews of 50 or more individuals when necessary.
- Coordinate and collaborate with vendor resources to identify and remove roadblocks.
- Attend key strategy meetings (e.g., Design Review Boards, Risk Management Meetings, Schedule Development Meetings) as needed to support project progress.
Requirements: - Requires an advanced (graduate) degree in a related field of study or business AND 10 years of mechanical experience in a nuclear, steam-cycle, and/or regulated industrial environment.
- OR Bachelor's degree in a related field of study or business AND 12 years of mechanical experience in a nuclear, steam-cycle, and/or regulated industrial environment.
- OR Associate's degree from an accredited college or university AND 14 years of mechanical experience in a nuclear, steam-cycle, and/or regulated industrial environment.
- OR High School Diploma/GED AND 16 years of mechanical experience in a nuclear, steam-cycle, and/or regulated industrial environment.
- Proven experience in construction management.
- Proven experience in multiple refueling outages at a commercial nuclear power plant.
- Proven experience with the production and operational processes at a commercial nuclear power plant.
- Experience with the production and operational processes at a commercial nuclear power plant.
- Experience in multiple refueling outages at a commercial nuclear power plant.
- Skilled in Enterprise Management Software (e.g., Asset Suite, SAP).
- Intimately familiar with logic-driven schedules (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Project).
- Knowledge of code and regulatory requirements related to maintenance and field work activities.
- Proficiency in error reduction, human performance improvement methods, and cost-effective work execution methodologies.
- Familiarity with procedures and processes related to maintenance and engineering activities.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Proven experience with feedwater heaters and internals of feedwater heaters.
- Proven experience with steam systems and/or work related to ASME Boiler Pressure Vessel Code vessels, heat exchangers, piping, and valves.
- Certifications associated with mechanical disciplines, construction, or projects are desired.
