Job Title: Senior Manager, Accounts Receivable & Treasury

Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid- 3 days/wk in office)

Description:

As the Senior Manager, Accounts Receivable & Treasury you will manage and lead Accounts Receivable & Treasury activities across the prescription, consumer and aesthetics business units, ensuring International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) are consistently applied and internal controls are maintained. Ensure compliance with global requirement for accounts receivable reporting, accounts receivable factoring, cash flow forecasting, and local banking relationship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversight of the daily operations of the local and global business services for invoice to cash and collections, accounts receivable and treasury teams which includes accounts receivable subledger, general ledger, cash flow actuals and forecasting, and all related internal controls & core accounting processes.
  • Responsible for the integrity of the company's accounts receivable subledger, Marketing Development Fund Subledger, and cash flow actual and forecasting, ensuring applicable IFRS standards and regulations are followed.
  • Implement and ensure consistent and accurate implementation of accounts receivable policies, regarding past due invoices, credit matching to chargebacks, erroneous credit memos, and credit balances of customers. Manage accounts receivable factoring program. Be well versed in customer portals, customer payment practices and ensure strong inbound cash flow from customers.
  • Own responsibility for monthly cash flow forecasts submission to global treasury based on forecasted and actual gross sales, customer AR balances and latest P&L and balance sheet forecasts. Meeting inbound cash flow targets within +/- 5%.
  • Own responsibility for US based banking relationship. Perform as change leader insuring state of the art practices for ACH inbound/outbound payments, wires and deposits. Improving data provided to vendors to support payments.
  • Manage processes of monthly/quarterly and annual closing of the accounts receivable subledger as well as financial reports in compliance with IFRS accounting and reporting requirements including internal management reporting.
  • Provide management with timely reviews of organization's financial status and progress in its various programs and activities around accounts receivable and cash flow forecasting. Ensure timely completion on monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Participate in monthly Pre-Close Meeting with BU Finance teams and monthly Net Sales, P&L and Balance Sheet review meetings.
  • Evaluate, develop and maintain internal and operational controls necessary to comply with good accounting and business practices and corporate policy.
  • Manages staff which includes: candidate selection / retention; employee coaching / counseling; appraising performance to identify training, development needs; and rewarding / recognizing employees.

Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree Required, preferred Degreed Accountant (CPA and/or Master of Science in Accounting)
  • 10+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4, pharmaceutical (sales & marketing organization) or large manufacturing or CPG environment
  • Accounting supervisory experience required
  • Must demonstrate strong analytical skills and knowledge of business and industry issues.
  • Must demonstrate deep understanding and application of GAAP and IFRS accounting.
  • Experience demonstrating strong technical and analytical skills and a track record of success working in a team-based environment.
  • Ability to work and influence within a multi-cultural environment.
  • Ability to lead change initiatives and process improvements.
  • Ability to propose creative solutions to complex financial situations.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, under pressure and to demanding deadlines.
