Walmart Connect is seeking a Sr. Manager in its Sales Analytics & Technology team and leverage data visualization tools to create dashboards for sales reporting. This role will combine project work and support for the sales team and leadership at Walmart Connect. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting these functional areas and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will be a crucial contributor to an organizational structure within the sales department to facilitate the department's short-term and long-term objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the media industry, agency landscape, and the ad tech side of the ecosystem. This is a highly independent, cross-functional, and operationally focused role. This role will report to the Business Intelligence Lead and partner closely with counterparts within the broader Walmart Connect organization (Advertising Business System, Product, Revenue Operations, Insights & Analytics, and Marketing).
Responsibilities:
• Participate in user interviews and requirements gathering sessions led by Product Manager, Sales Leads, and BI Lead to deeply understand what business problems we are trying to solve, key questions to be answered by the reporting tool (Tableau/PowerBI), and how it will fit into the business process to be supported.
• Build dashboards using BI best practices to reduce file size, refresh time, and load time to make dashboard coding easy to follow for other team members.
• Partner with Tools Engineers (Advertising Business System team) to define new or modified data models needed in the data warehouse. Build and maintain published data sources.
• Thoroughly QA dashboards for accuracy and functionality.
• Update and maintain existing dashboards as needed. Troubleshoot and resolve access or data quality issues reported by sales users.
Qualifications:
• 6+ years as a business intelligence professional or related role.
• 6+ years working in Tableau Desktop or publishing to Tableau Server required.
• Advanced experience using SQL to extract data, understand data structures and run queries.
• In-depth experience analyzing data and creating reports with strong spreadsheet (excel), quantitative modeling, and forecasting skills.
• Excellent UX design and data visualization skills.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Google Cloud Platform, and Order Management System.
• Ability to manage complex projects simultaneously and drive projects to completion, with little-to-no guidance and close attention to detail.
• Great teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Take the initiative and tackle challenges with enthusiasm.
• The media industry's sales operations background and Ad network experiences are preferred.
• Familiarity with Python and/or R is preferred.
• Working experience on building complex, scalable ETLs is strongly preferred.
• Great teamwork and collaboration skills

San Bruno, California US-08848:The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Option 3: 6 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.
1 year's supervisory experience.
