Summary of Role:
The S&OP & IBP Sr Manager at GlobalFoundries will be able to participate in the design of the new global Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and then lead the execution of that process and team. This leadership role is critical and will have high visibility as part of the overall greater Supply Chain transformation. Essential Responsibilities:
- Owner of the Global S&OP process
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of the S&OP process across the enterprise
- Single party responsible for alignment and agreement with consensus demand plan, supply commit and financial plan globally
- Responsible for overall IBP process globally - execute, sustain and continually improve with cross-functional stakeholders within and external to supply chain
- Lead the monthly Executive S&OP meeting, ensuring proper escalation of topics as needed, presenting scenario analyses with proposals, driving decisions, and driving actions/decisions to completion
- Key liaison between Supply Chain Planning team and the IBP transformation team, as part of the SAP design and implementation program
- As a component of the S&OP process, participates in other strategic meetings (e.g., stage gate for NPL, Category Strategy Planning) to ensure integration and synchronization of marketing, R&D efforts with Supply Chain and Financial plans/activities
- Drive consensus between cross-functional groups and leaders
- Ensures alignment and cascade of information, decision and actions from Corporate to Regional and functions; responsible to drive completion of identified actions with responsible stakeholder
- Support Planning organization in What-if/ scenario analysis
- Validate and sign-off on scenario analysis and provide sufficient detail on cost / service / inventory tradeoffs behind each IBP decision; drive detailed and rigorous analysis to support decisions
- May manage short term projects or detailed analyses (including the coordination of cross-functional teams) in support of IBP process
- Participates and supports developing and materializing company's supply chain strategy
Required Qualifications:
- Education - Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field (minimum)
- Experience - Minimum of 8-10 years experience in the following:
- 10+ years of related experience in S&OP and demand or supply planning function
- Deep knowledge of S&OP / IBP, demand planning and supply planning
- Experience with Demand Planning and S&OP modules within an ERP system (Oracle, SAP)
- Experience with leading, supervising and managing large groups of stakeholders through IBP / S&OP processes and meetings in a complex, cross-functional, matrix environment
- Ability to work with relevant planning tools (e.g. SAP, Oracle, E2Open, Kinaxis) in support of analytics driven decision making
- Strong strategic planning and business acumen
- Skills - knowledge and experience with S&OP process, demand planning, and supply planning functions/processes. Experience with Demand Planning and/or S&OP software; worked in an ERP environment (i.e. SAP or Oracle)
- Travel - Up to 20%

- Strong managerial and organizational skills, with ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple accountabilities simultaneously
- Ability to work within and across multiple functional teams, collaborating with Planning, Finance, Supply Chain and Sales stakeholders
- Executive presence and comfortable presenting and working with VP, SVP and C-level stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Expected Salary Range$116,200.00 - $220,000.00
