RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking to hire a Senior Staff Auditor in Worcester, Massachusetts (MA).Summary:This client is a Fortune 500 insurance company that offers amazing benefits including 401K, tuition reimbursement, certification reimbursement, PTO, etc. Their office offers dry cleaning and a free gym on site. The role will work in a hybrid schedule, 1-2 days a week in the office and the rest of the week remote.Responsibilities include:- Senior Staff Auditor will plan audits, including risk assessment and setting objectives
- Conduct audits, including field work, preparation and review of workpapers and audit reports
- Evaluate internal controls and provide improvement recommendations
- As a Senior Staff Auditor, you will assist with providing feedback for staff assessments
- Mentor team members
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred
- 3-5 years of audit experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytic skills
- Ability to travel up to 5% as needed
- CPA, CIA or CISA is preferred
- Experience with IT general controls auditing is preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
