Summary: The Shipping Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision of Warehouse Department employees, ensuring adherence to the organization's policies and applicable laws. This role involves training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, scheduling and managing overtime, appraising performance, disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems. The supervisor is also responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, whether receiving from the floor or external vendors, and managing housekeeping in the dock area. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage Warehouse Department employees in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Train employees, plan, assign, and direct work, and manage overtime schedules.
- Appraise employee performance, provide disciplinary measures when necessary, and address complaints and resolve issues.
- Ensure the accuracy of all inventory records, including receiving from the floor and external vendors.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dock area.
- Promote and ensure adherence to all product quality and safety processes.
- Foster a safe work environment by following and enforcing all safety and policy procedures established by Tyson Foods.
- Perform additional responsibilities as needed. Work Environment:
- Regular exposure to extreme cold.
- Occasional exposure to vibration.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 3 years of relevant work experience.

Experience: Prior experience is preferred but not required.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills are preferred but not required.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Travel: Some travel may be required for training purposes.
