Our client is seeking a Social Media Content & Engagement Specialist to join their dynamic team. This role is perfect for a creative, innovative, and tech-savvy individual who is passionate about leveraging social media platforms to drive brand awareness and engagement.
As a Social Media Content & Engagement Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Creating and executing original content, including images and short-form videos, across our client's social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) 3-5 times a week to generate brand awareness and affinity
- Collaborating with cross-functional team members to develop industry-leading creative assets
- Gathering, analyzing, and communicating social media KPIs to stakeholders, and adjusting plans and content to further drive audience growth and engagement
- Contributing thought leadership for social media and cultural trends relevant to the brand
- Monitoring, listening, interacting, and responding to consumers, influencers, and other stakeholders posting comments or questions about our client's products, ensuring brand voice and quality standards are met during these interactions
- Assisting with the brand's paid social media strategy
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Three years of experience posting and managing social media accounts including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest
- Strong content creation experience, including the ability to create and edit new social and video content
- Knowledge of social media best practices and trends
- Experience partnering with a consumer brand to create social media content
- Strong communication skills (both written and oral)
- Knowledge and experience in the consumer packaged goods industry
- Experience with marketing technology/tools
- Ability to use analytics to take projects effectively from analysis to insight and implementation
