Job Title: Lead Software Engineer - Basel Reporting

Location: Charlotte, NC

Job Description:

Join our team as a Lead Software Engineer, where you will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. You will:

• Review and analyze multifaceted, large-scale, or long-term Software Engineering challenges.
• Evaluate multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented elements.
• Contribute to resolving complex situations requiring a solid understanding of functions, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

Responsibilities:

• Join the Basel reporting team, currently transitioning Basel requirements from the Reveleus platform to Axiom.
• Utilize your proficiency in database concepts and experience with migration projects.
• Apply hands-on Axiom development experience, including performing root cause analysis (RCA) on issues.
• Engage in testing and change management.
• Implement DevOps practices, including CI/CD.
• Follow Agile development practices and methodologies.
• Utilize Basel reporting, Power BI, and Dremio.
• Leverage cloud experience or knowledge.
• Demonstrate proficiency in database concepts, including relational databases, schema objects, data access, data integrity, and data storage.
• Use technical expertise with Oracle, SQL, Spark, and Python.
• Apply knowledge of data migration and/or data integration projects.
• Understand US regulatory reporting requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on Axiom development experience.
• Experience with testing and change management.
• Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices.
• Experience with Basel reporting.
• Proficiency with Power BI and Dremio.
• Cloud experience or knowledge.
