What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience, in a client-facing or consulting environment
- Development experience in front-end and back-end programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, C#, Java, Kotlin or Swift
- Proficiency with multiple programming environments and tools
- Familiarity with developing multi-platform software
- Display passion for delivering high quality products that meet customer's needs, the craft of software development and a drive to improve technically
- Strong problem-solving and software triage skills with the ability to work multi-functionally in a fast-moving and constantly evolving work environment
- Desire to continuously learn and grow to develop modern software solutions
- Knowledge of agile methodologies
- Experience with RESTful web services and APIs
- Experience with common JavaScript libraries (React, Vue, Angular, jQuery)
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB, CouchDB, etc.)
- Experience with DevOps processes (Continuous Integration/Delivery/Deployment, Automation, etc.)
- Familiarity with modern, cloud-based solutions in AWS, GCP or Azure
- Basic understanding of AI-assisted software engineering practices (GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, etc.), with a strong willingness to deepen AI development expertise
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with client and other Slalom team members to develop applications that provide measurable business value to our clients
- Build technical acumen across the stack through hands-on experience with the latest technologies and delivery methodologies
- Work in a fast-paced, agile project environment with small, focused teams
- Write the code to deliver solution-focused, outcome-orientated projects in collaboration with a highly skilled team
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to peers, less experienced engineers, and client personnel
- Be an active member of a growing team; help define and influence team culture & standards
- Engage with other Slalom team members through internal meetings, demos and events
