What you'll do:

We work on Walmart's strategic in-store Associate mobile experience. Our goal is to enable our in-store associates with mobile app capabilities that will help them be more efficient in their daily tasks as well as enhance team collaboration and communication.as well as other technologies to enable P2P communication and much more. Our goal is to ensure our associates can easily access the information they need to get the job done quickly and spend more time helping and assisting our customers:

• Design and Development: Work on chat bots and speech to text tech such as our Ask Sam app
• Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Conduct code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement practices.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues in a timely manner, ensuring high performance and reliability of software systems.

What you'll bring:

• Backend: Java, Spring Framework, NodeJS
  
• Databases: Relational (Azure SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.) or NoSQL (Mongo DB, Cassandra, etc.),
  
• Cloud experience: Azure/Google/AWS Cloud Platform (micro-services architectures (REST), event-based architecture (Kafka, JMS etc), Kubernetes, Docker)
  
• Monitoring & Alerting: Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana etc.
  
• Assist small to medium-sized complex projects by reviewing and understanding project requirements; translating requirements into technical solutions; writing and developing code; communicating status and issues to appropriate team members and stakeholders.
  
• Troubleshoots business and production issues by gathering information (for example, issue, impact, criticality); performing root cause analysis to reduce future issues; engaging support teams when needed; developing solutions.
  
• Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.
  
• Experience in CI/CD and Test automation.
