JOB DESCRIPTION

Overview:

This position will be based in Miami, FL office location. The individual will be supporting not only the Miami, FL office location but also other users via remote support in Americas Region. There may be a need for periodic travel to support additional sites.

The individual will work during administrative hours however it may be required to be available afterhours on special circumstances. The individual will provide local and remote support for network infrastructure, servers, storage, end user hardware and software, desktop support, Wi-Fi, audio and video conferencing along with mobile devices in a fast-paced, dynamic and rewarding environment. The incumbent will possess an energetic and positive demeanor who welcomes challenges and seeks constant opportunity to grow and learn. As a member of the team, the ability to work independently and prioritize multiple IT incidents is essential to this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Design, configure, manage and maintain functional networks
  • Implement and maintain network security standards
  • Establish, maintain and Perform automated Network Health Checks and Monitoring for performance and stability
  • Able to self-manage time and meet deadlines
  • Implementation of local and remote desktops, laptops. This includes new hardware and software installation, network software configuration, upgrades to workstation hardware/software and general user assistance with various applications
  • Maintain current inventory of computer assets assigned to locations, including tracking additions, relocations, and deletions through the continued use of our asset management tools
  • Coordinating and implementing network software and hardware upgrades
  • Troubleshooting and resolving LAN/WAN performance, connectivity and related network problems, administering LAN/WAN security and malware control measures


QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, technical school training or related work experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with a broad base of technologies, demonstrating progressive levels of responsibilities.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Windows systems administrator or network administrator. Must have capabilities administering Windows systems, storage, and backup technologies. Must be very familiar with networking technologies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are required. Ability to work effectively with team members, clients and other areas of the IT environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong decision-making skills and make sound judgment decisions.
  • Strong written and oral communications
  • Customer Service focused, ability to prioritize workflow, work independently and remotely support multiple locations.
  • Fundamental ability to search out and implement solutions to problems they have either never come across before or the team is unable to assist (Required)
  • Speak and write English & Spanish fluently
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Windows Server, Hyper-V Windows Desktop, Networking, WiFi deployment
  • MS Intune (Endpoint Manager)
  • MS Office 365 administration
  • Advanced knowledge of networking fundamentals, design, implementation and troubleshooting
  • Ability to resolve problems with an unknown system, piece of hardware or software

Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • IT Certifications: CompTIA Network+, A+, Microsoft MTA, MCSA, MCSE
  • Cisco CCENT or CCNA
  • MS Azure AD knowledge
  • Advanced wireless system integration and troubleshooting
The typical starting salary range for this position is: $71,022 - $80,000.

The actual salary offer will take into account multiple factors including skills, experience, education and location. Please note that the salary details listed in role postings reflect the base salary only, not total compensation, which includes bonus and benefits.
