Job Description Summary

Its Global Corporate Communications team stewards the Cushman & Wakefield brand and supports the firm's executive leaders and service lines in driving reputation, engagement and value around the world.

The Sr. Director, Corporate Communications oversees internal and external communications for the firm's Corporate Communications function. This leader will work collaboratively with stakeholders to assess communications needs, draft communications plans and deliver results aligned to the firm's strategic priorities and values. This leader provides counsel and support to the C-Suite to provide communications, employee engagement, public relations and lead multiple projects for the Global Corporate Communications function.

The role reports to Cushman & Wakefield's SVP, Global Corporate Communications and manages a team of corporate communications professionals.
Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Foster a team culture aligned to Cushman & Wakefield's purpose and values.
  • Lead and manage a high-performing team that collaborates cross functionally to execute the highest value for all stakeholders. Strong ability to manage, grow and develop the team.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, remain flexible and display confident decision making.
  • Support brand stewardship and issues management.
  • Develop and manage integrated communications plans in support of global strategic priorities, and operational initiatives to help further culture, reputation and engagement for profitable growth.
  • Develop executive messages, employee engagement campaigns, presentations, social media posts, town halls, newsletters and media coverage.
  • Collaborate with the Americas PR team to generate brand-enhancing news coverage via top-tier, trade and additional media outlets.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and the global Marketing and Research teams to extend the reach of content to further thought leadership.
  • Write, edit, proofread, ensure brand consistency across communications and measure results.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations or related discipline.
  • 12+ years of experience managing communications for a company or client of a PR firm.
  • Experience leading high performing team.
  • Measurable results in furthering culture, reputation and engagement to drive the company forward.
  • Excellent written, verbal and storytelling skills; ability to communicate a range of different topics.
  • Experience creating news coverage, social media and multi-media (e.g., videos, town halls)
  • Strong time management, organizational and prioritization skills. Must have the ability to balance multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative while working well in a group environment.
  • Proactive partner who likes to help solve challenges.
