Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Sr. Java Developer:
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize web applications using Java and Spring
- Work on enhancements for legacy Java-based applications
- Build microservices and ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards
- 7+ years of experience in developing scalable web applications, with expertise in Java, JavaScript, JSP/Servlet, and J2EE design patterns
- 5+ years of experience in Oracle database design, stored procedures, and performance-tuned SQL
- Strong knowledge of service integration (RESTful/SOAP services)
- Experience in cloud-native development and public/private cloud platforms
- Experience with legacy systems
- Prior experience in the Life Sciences industry
- Prior experience with LabWare LIMS AKA COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf)
