Position Description
The Sr. Manager, Performance Management will serve as a leader in identifying over and underperforming accounts and contracts. This role will collaborate with Sales, Pricing, Product and Segment Leadership to identify trends, create remediation strategies, and develop a performance feedback loop to feed into McKesson Pricing Model and, other decision-making tools. The role will report directly to the Director, Performance Management within the overall PSAS Pricing team. The role will also be a key business partner to Pricing and Advanced Analytics. This role will assist in monitoring and analyzing deals for Health Systems. The Performance Management team is responsible for identifying under or over performing customers, conducting root cause analysis, problem remediation, tracking remediation execution, leading initiatives& value capture projects and leading the build for executive level dashboards. This role will work internally with several departments including Sales, Pricing, Finance, Rebates, Contracts and Legal.
Position Summary
- Assist in the management and facilitation the performance management
process to understand the root cause of performance variance, determine
corrective action and track actions through execution
- Track problem remediation across multiple McKesson departments to
ensure timely and appropriate completion
- Understand deal constructs, pricing terms, market conditions, and
competitive dynamics sufficiently to analyze under or over performing
accounts and contracts and to ensure success of contract remediation
programs and feedback loop
- Develop segment specific performance management metrics, processes,
and reporting. Leading build of Executive Level Dashboards
- Identify opportunities to evolve the Performance Management process
- Coordinate with Sales, Pricing, Product, Finance, Rebate, Contract and
Legal teams
- Work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment while responding to
changing business needs and priorities
- Develop and maintain working relationships with business professionals
within PSAS and across the McKesson enterprise, to ensure
communication of and action on significant events within the business.
Also, expand knowledge of through this dialogue to make
recommendations and share information across the business
Minimum RequirementsEducation/Training -
- Bachelor's degree required
- Finance or related field preferred
- MBA strongly preferred
Business Experience -
9+ years of professional work experience, healthcare experience preferred
and 1+ years of supervisory and/or management experience.
Critical Skills
- 9+ years of relevant finance or pricing expertise, preferably in a Fortune 100 company
- 1+ years of Managerial Experience
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to organize, manage and prioritize multiple projects
- Ability to collaborate, influence and gain commitment from multiple stakeholders
- Strong presentation skills with experience presenting to all levels of the organization
- Excellent meeting and workshop facilitation skills, with proven success in fostering attendee participation and collaboration

Salary: 108,700.00 - 144,900.00 - 181,100.00 USD Annual with 20% MIP
