Job Description Summary

This position is responsible for developing strategies for current and future programs, sourcing and qualifying suppliers, negotiating pricing, executing contracts for Contract Manufacturing, Repackaging and Disposal. Responsibilities include integrating with cross functional stakeholders to achieve Lamb Weston's key priorities, integrating capabilities, and program forecasts and opportunities to deliver on results.

Job Description

  • Owns a $160m 'book of business' and aligns to company cost, quality, delivery and service requirements to achieve strategic initiatives.
  • Elevates Procurement's status as a trusted partner through customer centricity
  • Monitors appropriate Supplier Risk Management protocols with critical suppliers
  • Efficiently communicates strategies, priorities, goals, challenges, and results to executives and stakeholders.
  • Leads complex sourcing efforts and negotiating with suppliers, including but not limited to RFQs and RFPs.
  • Identifies opportunities to extract additional value and innovation from the supply base while considering performance management and risk management approaches.
  • Passionately supporting ESG outcomes for assigned categories.
  • Ensures materials and products acquired by the organization are disposed of in an environmentally responsible way.
  • Leases with Legal to enable and streamline contract negotiations in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Manages supplier contractual framework, including NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, and Pas.
  • Drives supplier performance by lifting and shifting best practices from one region to another region.
  • Monitors, controls, and reports KPI's for the assigned category.
  • Productivity and Payment Terms recording and tracking.
  • Supports proactive organization sessions with internal customers to identify further Total Cost of Ownership reduction opportunities for MRO category.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Basic & Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree is required, Masters is a plus
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement for Operations &/or Supply Chain, Contract Manufacturing and/or Repackaging.

Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in transformation & continuous improvement of procurement
  • Possess the ability & knowledge to negotiate, manage & enforce procurement agreements
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP & related systems including, but not limited to SAP Ariba & SAP Concur
  • Ability to collaborate productively with cross-functional, cross-geographical teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities or projects.
  • Capability to operate in uncertain environments & deliver results under pressure
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills
  • Natural influencer & persuasive at all levels of the business

Physical Environment/Demands:

  • Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment
  • Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at desk or computer terminal

  • Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone and other office equipment in the course of normal workday
  • Stooping, bending, twisting and reaching may be required in completion of job duties

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range posted based on various factors, including, but not limited to, job duties, experience and expertise. A candidate's work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor. A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $74,190.00 - $111,300.00
