Job Title: Senior Tax Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Tax Accountant to join our dynamic team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and be CPA eligible. With a minimum of 3 years of recent experience in a public accounting firm, particularly in tax-related roles, the Senior Tax Accountant will play a crucial part in preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and S corporations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize, prepare, and review tax returns with high attention to detail.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members, ensuring clarity in both verbal and written interactions.
• Navigate complex tax issues and apply knowledge to client situations.
• Provide high-quality work products and participate in tax planning and research.
• Train and supervise entry-level staff and interns to enhance team performance.
• Maintain positive working relationships with clients and colleagues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA eligible.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in a public accounting firm with a focus on tax.
• Preferred experience with 1040 preparation and reviews.
• Proficient in QuickBooks.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
