Staff BI & Analytics Data Architect

This position is part of the IT Enterprise Applications and Data Platforms (EADP) department located in Brea, CA. You will report to the Senior Manager, Business Applications responsible for Business Intelligence (BI) Applications and Data Platforms. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Modernize Beckman Coulter's BI technology stack, enabling self-service analytics and advanced data analysis.
  • Interface with various business departments, understand their data and business processes and develop solutions.
  • Manage offshore development teams and IT projects.
  • Design and implement data virtualization, data catalog and master data management (MDM) platforms.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or other relevant fields. Requires a Bachelor's Degree with 9+ years or Master's Degree with 7+ years or Ph.D. 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • At least 7+ years of Informatica Cloud/ ETL, 7+ years relational databases and SQL, 3+ years Snowflake database and 1+ year HVR design and development experience.
  • Integrating OLTP systems like Oracle ERP, Salesforce, Service Max, Smart Solve etc. into a data warehouse.
  • Working with visualization and reporting applications such as Oracle Analytics (OBI/OAS/OAC) and Power BI.
  • Knowledge of various functional processes such as Logistics, Finance, Service, Sales and Order Management.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Python, machine learning and other data science toolsets.
  • Managing projects with Traditional and Agile project lifecycle frameworks.
  • Facilitation and the ability to adapt communications to the level and nature of the audience.

The salary range for this role is $150K-$170K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
