Job Summary:
Altus Group is seeking a Team Lead to oversee the day-to-day processes of all the tax administrative staff as well as continuously work to identify ways to work more efficiently as a team. This position requires in-office expectations.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Process workflows: Leads all processes delivered through the tax administrative team and ensures processes are standardized, followed and documented
  • Continuously looking to improve processes and remove roadblocks so the team can work as efficiently as possible
  • Reviews Work: Reviews work performed by team to ensure accuracy and sign offs on any reports or data going to a client
  • Provides clear and direct feedback on work performed
  • Workload Planning: Directs the work performed with the team based on incoming tasks and needs of the business
  • Pulls reports from databases and makes sure there is no missing work
  • Partners with the Manager, Tax Administration to ensure workload is evenly distributed and performed at or above expectations
  • Internal Partner Management: Support invoice creation on admin related work being performed
  • Partners with consultants on appeal updates in the database and makes sure the hearing calendar is aligned
  • External Partner Management: Communicated with government agencies as needed
  • Prepares and send reports to clients either directly or indirectly
  • Partners with Anybill on payments

Key Requirements:

  • Secondary school diploma or General Educational Development (GED/Highschool)
  • Experience in Real Estate Industry is required
  • Property Tax experience is required
  • 2 years administrative experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong project management skills
  • Intermediate Excel
