How you can make a bigger difference:

The Jewish Board's Adult and Family Residential Division supports domestic violence survivors and their family members. Using a non-judgmental, trauma-informed approach, staff guide the residents to create and meet personalized recovery goals, to stabilize their families, to develop independent living skills, and to plan effectively to be able to live in a healthy and secure manner. Our work is guided by principles that emphasize the critical importance of safe and stable housing, utilize a culturally competent and anti-racist lens, and respect the dignity and legitimacy of each individual's journey.

The Team Leader works in the Domestic Violence Rapid Re-Housing (RRH) program servicing adults and children. The Team Leader is responsible for ensuring excellent client care, in line with State and Agency mandates, is uniformly provided. They will monitor operations to certify that best-practice methodologies are uniformly employed, reviewed, and updated as necessary.

KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Provides oversight for the RRH program.
  • Ensures that all supportive services are delivered to clients.
  • Manages the Intake activities.
  • Gathers data to report the program's effectiveness in adhering to the outcomes of the program.
  • Identifies and recruits landlords and realtors, encourages them to rent to homeless households served by the program.
  • Serves as a Liaison with Work Force 1- Makes contact and develop relationship with staff.
  • Provides on-going task supervision to Case Management staff.
  • Monitors home visit schedule.
  • Coordinates and oversee admissions process in accordance with all relevant intake criteria and assign clients for service.
  • Monitors program for continued improvement.
  • Responsible for internal audits.
  • Conducts and participates in Quality Assurance activities, including Continuous Performance Improvement (CPI), consumer satisfaction surveys, chart reviews and audits
  • Other duties as assigned.

Administrative Support and Coordination
  • Participates in regular staff meetings and trainings. May be asked to travel to some off-site meetings and trainings.
  • Participates in planning and execution of the Internship and Mentor program.
  • Participates in case conference.
  • Participates in intake, assessment, discharge, and follow-up conferences.
  • Participates in program development.
  • Completes all required reports for funding source and regulatory bodies.
  • Files incident reports as appropriate.

COMPETENCIES for the position include:
  • Excellent engagement and assessment skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with different levels of staff.
EDUCATIONAL / TRAINING REQUIRED:
  • BA required.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED / LANGUAGE PREFERENCE:

A minimum of two (2) years of strong administrative experience.
  • Previous experience working with a domestic violence population.
  • Must have strong collaborative skills with clinical and administrative staff.
  • Must provide culturally competent treatment and demonstrate cultural sensitivity.
  • The ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management.
  • Proven analytical skills is essential.
  • Familiarity with domestic violence state regulations.
  • Strong administrative skills and an understanding of residential operations.

COMPUTER SKILLS REQUIRED (List the computer skills needed):
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Ability and willingness to learn new systems and application software.

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL EFFORT
  • The work environment generally does not involve physical risk or hazardous conditions.
  • To perform the essential functions of this job, the incumbent is routinely required to sit (70% of the time) and stand (30% of the time)
  • Ability to travel to visit residents in apartments in the community when needed.
  • Travel to Headquarters and in the community.
  • Attend coalition meetings.
  • Role is 100% in-person.
