JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood is searching for an experienced Technical Advisor - LNG Studies to support current LNG Studies services within our Oil & Gas Studies group in our Houston, TX office. The key objective for Oil & Gas Studies group is to win and execute studies such as due diligence, technology, feasibility, concept select and pre-FEED. The chosen candidate will support this objective and provide input towards LNG studies particularly US regulatory, environmental and permitting requirement for LNG projects as well as advising clients, investors, and asset owners in making the right investment decisions for their projects or assets within the Upstream and Midstream markets.

This is a contract (on call) position, with an expected duration of 12 months. Due to the nature of the position, we will consider only US citizens, or those who are authorized to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide advisory input towards execution of LNG studies focusing on regulatory, environmental and permitting requirements
• Provide technical guidance to support successful delivery of LNG studies in line with Scope of Work and client expectations.
• Support the Oil & Gas Studies Team in adopting the early project development mindset

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• 25+ years of experience in oil & gas upstream/midstream industry with extensive focus on LNG projects
• Extensive experience with US LNG permitting and regulatory requirements
• Experience working within multi-disciplinary teams
• Familiarity with major project stage gate processes
• Demonstrated understanding of business, industry and client drivers
• US citizen or authorized to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood
