Transactional Legal Assistant

Nashville office of a reputable, regional law firm is seeking a Transactional Legal Assistant to join a wonderful team.

** This is a direct hire, permanent position in a firm with outstanding leadership, excellent benefits and very little turnover **

Candidates must have at least four years of experience providing support for a commercial real estate practice. Strong MS Word and Excel skills and typing of at least 65 wpm is required.

Responsibilities will include:

• Drafting legal correspondence and real estate documents; proofreading and editing documents
• Assist with the preparation of commercial real estate leases and closing binders
• Maintaining communication with clients, outside counsel, lenders and vendors
• Filing
• Assisting with travel arrangements when necessary, scheduling meetings and conference calls
• Creating monthly expense reports
• Maintaining attorneys' calendars
• Entering attorney time
• Assisting with other related legal administrative matters
