Web Content Specialist
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Responsible for updating and publishing website content within a content management system, this role facilitates the delivery of relevant digital copy and imagery that connect our services with members' needs across all business lines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works with cross-functional teams and key individuals, including copywriters and graphic designers, to update website copy and imagery, ensuring accuracy, timely execution, and adherence to brand standards.
- Publishes digital content across all business lines-Membership, Insurance, Automotive, Travel, HR, ESG, and PR/Comms-using Adobe's CMS platform.
- Creates new web pages using pre-built components and templates to meet business objectives.
- Partners with the Digital Experience Team to effectively manage and prioritize incoming website requests.
- Applies SEO best practices and identifies opportunities to enhance digital content for search engines, focusing on keyword research and on-page optimization techniques.
- Represents marketing and business line objectives, collaborating with the Digital Experience Team to identify opportunities for site enhancements.
- Contributes to a collaborative team dynamic through respectful interactions and positive engagement, helping to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
- Incorporates AAA's vision, mission and values into daily activities and behaviors, guiding and motivating others to uphold these principles.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: • This job does not have supervisory responsibility.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 2+ years' experience in managing content for large-scale websites.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Familiarity with Adobe Experience Platform.
- Previous experience in a digital content role within a cross-functional team.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: • Adobe certification preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES: - Mastery of CMS systems, ideally Adobe Experience Platform.
- Strong understanding of web analytics and digital marketing practices.
- Knowledge of the membership, automotive, travel, or insurance industries preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Highly effective facilitation and project management skill sets.
- Keen eye for detail and a creative mind.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple projects.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical environment is typical of a standard office space. It requires the employee to work inside for the duration of work. Must be able to remain in a stationary position, sitting for more than 50% of the time. This position will require occasionally moving about inside the office to access equipment, cabinets, etc. May work around office equipment which could be noisy, such as copiers and fax machines.

SALARY: The salary for this position is $77,100 - $89,725 and is based on experience.
