Job Summary
Counter Control Operators with IMU Bowling and Billiards provide guests with prompt, efficient, courteous service, and ensure that maximum utilization of lanes and equipment is realized through efficient control of the flow of guests.
Department-Specific Responsibilities
- Ensures customers receive prompt, efficient, courteous service.
- Handles complaints, using judgment as to which ones to refer to management.
- Assists management in conducting special events, bowling promotions, etc.
- Utilizes proper cash handling techniques, per University procedures and in accordance with Trustwave training.
- Closes and opens center upon direction of management.
- Makes changes, corrections, and aids in the use of scoring devices.
- Instructs bowlers on proper use of automatic scoring equipment.
- Cleans billiard and game rooms (brushes tables).
- Removes bowling balls from ball return and returns to ball racks.
- Removes chipped and cracked bowling balls from racks as needed.
QualificationsEDUCATION
Required- Currently enrolled as a student at Indiana University

Working Conditions / DemandsThis role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this position must be able to lift 25 pounds. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.

Advertised Salary$12.50 per hour
