The Eppley Center for Parks and Public Lands is Indiana University's unique outreach program for park, recreation, and public land management professions and works to enhance the quality of natural, cultural, and recreational experiences for all people. The Center provides expertise in several areas, including technical assistance and research, planning and design, and training and education for the National Park Service, state parks, municipal governments, and other similar organizations around the world.
Job Summary
The Eppley Center for Parks and Public Lands seeks to hire a part-time US Play Research Coordinator to support its Spring 2025 US Play Conference.
Department-Specific Responsibilities
- Participates in workshop development and coordination of spring research symposium.
- Assists with background research, data entry and analysis, draft reports, and constituent communications for the FY25 US Play Conference.
QualificationsEDUCATION
Required- High school diploma or equivalent (such as HSED or GED).
WORK EXPERIENCE
Preferred- Some experience in an office environment.
SKILLS
Required- Proficient communication skills
Working Conditions / DemandsThis role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.

Work HoursActual hours are dependent on individual availability and functional unit assigned.
