Position Title: Trade Support Specialist
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Anticipated Start Date: 10/11/2024

Expected Duration: 12+ Months
Job Type: Monday - Friday (5 DAYS ON SITE REQUIRED for the first 30 days and potentially longer depending on training needs. Following training, Candidates will be required in the office 3 days per week (Tuesday-Thursday))
Pay Range: $22/hr - $24/hr
Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Description:
The Trade Support role assists with client relations, investment strategy, reporting, and risk mitigation. The role has a range of duties and responsibilities and is usually stationed within the finance or accounting department of an organization. A Trade Support job description asks for candidates who have refined finance knowledge, meticulous attention to detail, and strong communication skills.

Ensure practices abide by internal guidelines and external regulations
Develop innovative ways to improve the procedure
Provide detailed information and advice to clients and customers
Deliver accurate and timely reporting on contracts, investments, and sales
Respond to queries and issues raised by clients
Identify risk and implement mitigation strategy
Liaise with managers and project leads to ensure effective delivery of service and information
Provide basic troubleshooting and identify issues
Escalate incidents immediately when required
Produce daily, monthly, and annual reconciliation reports
Provide training to users

Responsible for the operational support and processing of Wealth Management & Investment Services (WMIS) client accounts and products of various types and sizes established by clients for various purposes. Accountable for setting up securities, general accounts, and asset-level maintenance with some level of supervision. Responsibilities have various levels of risk correlating to the type and size of the account or product. Effectively and accurately coordinate, manage and complete multiple duties and assignments concurrently and within acceptable timelines. Understands and achieves established Service Level Agreements. Accountable for compliance with established department policies and procedures.

Basic Qualifications
Associate's degree, or equivalent work experience
Two or more years of relevant experience

Preferred Skills/Experience
Basic understanding of regulatory and accounting principles that directly affect Wealth Management & Investment Services business lines and clients
Ability to quickly learn custody operational functions, systems, procedures, various products, and/or services, for assigned area(s)
Ability to multitask and meet established deadlines in a dynamic work environment
Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills
Effective customer relations, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills
Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
